The Short Story: Two of Roanoke's senior offensive juggernauts combined for 18 points in a runaway ODAC road win over the Hornets.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After Shenandoah grabbed the opening marker of the second period, the Maroons reeled off five more unanswered tallies, pushing their lead to 15-2 on a goal from Quinn Evans with 6:11 left in the frame. RC would hold a 17-4 edge at the break.
  • The Hornets scored back-to-back goals early in the third quarter to make it 18-6, but that was as close as the game would get after halftime as the Maroons soared to the 21-goal victory.
