The Short story:
The Roanoke College men's volleyball team won the first conference match in program history Friday evening, defeating Elizabethtown 25-19, 25-19, 25-22 in a Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) contest.

The programs two seniors, Davin Stevenson and Benjamin MacLeod, were honored in a pre-match ceremony on Senior Night.

Inside the numbers:
*Michael Cummins blasted a match-high 12 kills while Stevenson distributed a match-best 27 assists with five blocks.
*Jackson Rutkowski had six kills and three service aces and Dominic Wheaton had five kills and three blocks.
*Pierce Faulcon had four kills and Colin Mendoza had five blocks.
*CJ Kingston contributed 14 digs.
*Alex Finch had a team-best 11 kills for the Blue Jays (13-9/1-3 CVC).
* The Maroons were 0-12 in the two-year history of men's volleyball at Roanoke College in CVC play before tonight's victory.
