Event: ODAC Indoor Championship

The Lead: Kaitlyn Nguyen, Rebecca Carr and Grace Fowler all earned All-ODAC accolades on day one of the conference indoor track & field championship.
 
Day One Highlights:

• Nguyen placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.65m. Carr finished third with a personal-record leap of 1.62m as both Maroons claimed All-ODAC honors.
• Fowler produced an all-conference performance in the weight throw, logging a personal record of 16.15m to claim third place.
• The distance medley relay team of Allie Gallaher, Maryrose Molina-Shuman, Evie MaGee and Vendela Svaerd finished sixth with a time of 13:39.
• Four Roanoke athletes qualified for the finals of the 60m hurdles. Carr ran the third-best time in the preliminary rounds (9.14 seconds), while Olivia Viers (9.20), Cammi Winston (9.46) and Brooklyn Woolwine (9.90) also advanced to Sunday's final.
• Taylor Poole qualified for the 60m finals with a season-best time of 8.06 seconds in the prelims.
• The Maroons sit in fifth place in the team standings with 23 points. Lynchburg leads after day one with 47 points.
