The Lead: Brady Fowler snapped his own program mark in the 60m dash, while
Jim Sarsfield grabbed an all-conference spot in the weight throw on the opening day of the ODAC Indoor Championship at Cregger Field House.

Day One Highlights:
- Fowler eclipsed his own school record with a run of 6.82 seconds in the preliminary rounds of the 60m, finishing second overall to advance to Sunday's final. Joseph Eldridge will join him in the race after placing eighth with a prelim time of 7.07.
- Jim Sarsfield secured All-ODAC honors in the weight throw, coming in third with a distance of 14.79m.
- Jared McIntyre scored for the Maroons in the high jump, finishing in sixth place with a mark of 1.84m.
- The distance medley relay team of Sean Toliver, Max Cardwell, Xavier Chlebowski and Ian Fellows also came in sixth. Due to a scorekeeping error, no times were recorded.
- Daniel Graham ran a personal-record time of 8.68 seconds in the 60m hurdles prelims, finishing second to qualify for Sunday's final.
- Roanoke is currently in sixth place in the team standings with 12 points. Bridgewater tops the table after day one with 43 points.
