BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Roanoke College field hockey team fell to the Bridgewater Eagles 2-0 in ODAC play on Wednesday night.

How It Happened 

• Rylie Flick scored in the first half for the Eagles while Daphne Daymude added another in the second half to take the game from Roanoke. 

Notes and Notables 

• Maddy Holmes and Lindsey Keyes led the team in shots with three each. Mary Wisher and Grace Vernarelli also had multiple attempts in the game. 

• It was a close game though with Roanoke just behind the Eagles in shots, 13-15 and shots on goal, 7-9. 

• The Maroons had the edge on penalty corners, 8-6. 

• Goalie Madison Wingerter made six saves on the night.
