The Short Story: The Roanoke College women's swimming team won every event Saturday to roll to a 151-60 win over visiting Hollins University at the Salem YMCA. The men's team competed in an
intrasquad meet and the seniors of both teams were recognized prior to the competition on Senior Day.
Saturday Winners:
*The 200 yard medley relay team of
Susanna Price,
Ariana Guillory,
Lily Mullens and
Katie Blankinship won the race in 1:58.41.
Emily Tanner,
Bella Lorence,
Bella Cowan and
Carter Satterfield teamed up to win the 400 free relay in 4:00.48.
*Price touched the wall first in the 100 back in 1:02.84 and also took the 200 back in 2:13.72.
*Lorence won the 1000 free in 11:40.97 and the 100 free in 59.60.

Halle Schart captured the 200 free in 2:05.37 and the 100 fly in 1:03.62.
*
Julia Byers finished first in the 50 free in 27.10 and the 200 breast in 2:42.80.
*Blankinship won the 100 breast in 1:18.35.
*Satterfield swam a 2:28.04 to take first in the 200 fly.
*
Kate Pearson swam a 5:45.23 to win the 500 free.
*Mullens won the 200 IM in 2:23.09.
