How It Happened 

• Roanoke used the non-conference game to spread the wealth in terms of playing time and help prepare the team for the big upcoming conference games.  

Notes and Notables 

• 25 of RC's 30 active players saw the field in the game. 23 of those players played at least 20 minutes. 

• Jake Berecz and Carlos Lomena were the only Maroons with muliple shots, taking two shots each. 

• Denzel Marufu made his first start of the season in net. Marufu split time with Aidan McHugh on the afternoon. 

• Marufu accumulated six saves while McHugh registered three.
