SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with the Averett Cougars in ODAC play on Wednesday night.

How It Happened 

• While the Maroons had a majority of the chances, the Averett goalie, Tyler Lates, kept the Cougars in the game. 

Notes and Notables 

• Till Schumacher and Ryan Pidgeon led the team in shots with three each. 

• Carlos Lomena, Girom Affolter, Carter Laatsch, and Slate Danforth also took multiple shots on the night. 

• Roanoke outshot the Cougars 17-10 and led in shots on goal 9-3. 

• Goaltender Luca Gustafson made three saves in the clean sheet. 

• Gustafson currently sits in the top 20 in Division III with his seven clean sheets on the season so far. He is also tied for second in the category in the ODAC, behind Eastern Mennonite's Andrew Arledge, who has eight on the year.
