The Lead: Roanoke made its home debut for the indoor season with the Bast-Cregger Invitational in Salem this weekend.

Meet Highlights:

• Victor Cardwell won the 600m with a time of 1:26.88. Andrew Estes placed fifth in 1:30.33, and Angel Matias logged a seventh-place time of 1:33.85.
• Lorenzo Camobreco placed third in the 300m with a mark of 36.15 seconds.
• James Sarsfield also recorded a third-place finish with a distance of 14.17m in the weight throw, and Dominic McCombs landed in third in the pole vault at 3.90m.
• Xavier Chlebowski rounded out the top-three finishers for the Maroons, clocking a time of 2:45.90 to place third in the 1,000m. Jacob Greenstein came in eighth in 2:57.87.
• In the 5,000m, Scott Garis finished fourth in 16:08.66, and Ian Fellows crossed the tape in seventh with a time of 16:25.20.
• Cody Roupe placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.83m, and Jared McIntyre came in seventh at 1.78m.
• In the 400m, Elijah Bolich ran a time of 51.72 seconds for fourth place, and Bryson Hill finished eighth in 53.55.
• The 4x400 relay team of Cardwell, Aidan Spradlin, Aidan Stant and Brandon Heffinger placed fifth in 3:32.48.
• Cardwell also secured a sixth-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:03.44.
• Daniel Graham's time of 8.87 seconds was good for sixth place in the 60m hurdles.
• Jared McIntyre landed in seventh in the triple jump, posting a distance of 12.73m.
