The Lead: Roanoke opened the indoor track & field season in Lynchburg at the Liberty Kickoff, held on Thursday and Friday.

Meet Highlights:

• Kaitlyn Nguyen finished seventh overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.58m.
• Haylee Gamble led all Division III runners in the 200m, landing in 18th place with a time of 26.22 seconds.
• Mikayla Hefferon placed 21st in the 400m, logging a mark of 1:01.85.
• In the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles, Olivia Viers came in 19th in 9.48 seconds, while Cammi Winston finished 23rd in 9.86.

Up Next: Roanoke will play host to the Bast-Cregger Invitational, slated for Dec. 8-9 at Cregger Fieldhouse.
