THE GAME FACTS
Score: Roanoke 3, Randolph 1
Location: Salem, Va.

The Short Story:  The Roanoke men's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker on the road Saturday evening to Randolph-Macon in ODAC action. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • It was a defensive battle in the first half with RMC taking two shots to one for the Maroons.
  • With the score at 0-0 at half, offensive tactics begin to be displayed. It was in the 78th minute when the Yellow Jackets were able to sneak a goal by the Maroons defense for the 1-0 lead.
  • As neither team was able to score in the final 12 minutes, Randolph-Macon escaped with the victory.
UP NEXT
  • Roanoke closes out the regular season with a road contest on Wednesday, Oct. 25 when it travels to Averett. Game time with the Cougars is scheduled for 7 p.m.
