How it Happened

• Roanoke won five of the six singles matches on Saturday highlighted by Matt Kessler downing Trent Singleton 6-1, 6-3 in No. 1 Singles.
• Joey Ross beat Andrew Loving 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2, while Holden Branham, Jose Alvarado and Chris Teeple won at 4, 5 and 6, respectively for the Maroons.
• Morris and Kessler teamed up to beat David Anderson and Patrick Bryant 8-0 in No. 1 doubles.
• Ross and Branham and topped Harrison Stone and Singleton 8-3 at No. 2 doubles, while Billy Goins and Alvarado won 8-5 in No. 3 doubles.
