Roanoke College

Tom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He has been at Hidden Valley Country Club in Salem, Virginia for over 35 years, serving as the Director of Tennis for many years. He retired in 2009, and is currently the Facility Manager and continues to teach tennis. Tom is certified by the USPTA. Tom has worn many hats in the tennis industry. He was WTA Avon Futures Tournament Director (1986-1990), Men’s ATP Senior Tour Director (1988-1990) and won the 35-and-Over Virginia State Doubles Championship in 1988. Tom continues to have success playing USTA leagues at the 4.5 level and was inducted into the Roanoke Regional Tennis Hall of Fame in 2021.
