Biography

2006: Hanson started 17 games at goalkeeper... earned six shutouts with a 1.21 goals against average... finished with a career-high 66 saves with a .776 saves percentage.


 


2005: Started eight of 13 games played at goalkeeper...finished with 43 saves and a .768 saves percentage...had two shutouts and a 1.86 goals against average...was a First-Team All-ODAC and First Team All-Region selection in women's basketball.


 


2004: As a freshman, Hanson surprised many with her play in the field late in the season. A natural goalie, Hanson was moved to the field to better utilize her athletic ability. The Blacksburg, VA native was the 2005 ODAC women's basketball Freshman of the Year.


 


High School: Played basketball and soccer at Blacksburg HS… earned first-team all-state honors in basketball and soccer and was Second-Team All-Timesland.
