After arguably one of the top careers in Roanoke women's lacrosse history, Lilly Blair has returned to her alma mater and joined the women's lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant coach.Â
Blair returns to Salem after a career which saw her named an IWLCA Second Team All-American, ODAC Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-ODAC three times, IWLCA First Team All-Region three times, VaSID First Team All-State twice, CSC First Team Academic All-American twice, CSC Academic All-District twice, IWLCA Academic Honor Roll twice, ODAC Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and VaSID Academic All-State Team.
During her playing career, she competed in 77 games with 61 starts. She scored 247 goals and 72 assists for 319 career points. Of her career goals, 13 were game winners, while she finished her time in uniform with 11 player-up goals. She also snagged 172 draw controls, scooped up 110 ground balls, and totaled 54 caused turnovers.Â
Blair will assist head coach Erica Brown will all facets of the Maroons program.
