Biography
2003-04: led the Maroons in scoring (9.0 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg)… shot 85.7% from the free throw line, tops among the ODAC… 11 times made all of her free throws from the charity stripe… had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Bridgewater… had season-best 16 points vs. Washington & Lee… went 8-for-8 from the line against Virginia Wesleyan… had 10 or more rebounds three times, including a season-best against Lynchburg.
2002-03: emerged as a consistent frontcourt player, averaged 4.4 points and 2.7 rebounds as a sophomore… scored in all but three games and in all but one game pulled down a rebound… scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds off the bench against Eastern Mennonite in the ODAC Tournament overtime win… went 11-for-12 from the line in the overtime win… other double digit scoring effort came on the road against RMWC… had seven points and six rebounds in just 10 minutes against Bridgewater.
2001-02: saw action in 15 games… averaged 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 5.8 minutes per game… scored a season-best nine points in Roanoke's win over RMWC… scored six points in season-opener vs. Averett… played season-high 12 minutes against RMWC, hitting 3-for-4 from the field in addition to seven rebounds… had season-best of two assists and two steals in win over Virginia Wesleyan… hit 73.1% (19-of-26) from the charity stripe.
Personal: was a First-Team Group AA All-Star as a senior at Rural Retreat High School… led the Hogoheegee District in scoring as a senior, averaging 21.6 points… was both a District and Region Player of the Year… the 1,000-point scorer was named the female athlete of the year at RRHS… was a member of the National Honor Society.
