2013: Started all 37 games appeared in as a senior had a batting average of .434 for the season which led the team recorded 49 hits, 16 RBIs, 36 runs, 12 doubles, three triples, and three home runs had 22 stolen bases her 49 hits lead the team She is a two-time NFCA All-American and ranked seventh in batting with a .430 average, third in on-base percentage with .500, and eighth on the ODAC’s career hit list with 211 hits... Rainey picked up her second consecutive All-Atlantic Region First Team Honor and this was the third time in four years that she was named to an All-Region Squad She is a Two-Time NCAA All-American and has broken the record for stolen bases in a career with 125 having 41 in 2012 she is first in on base percentage for Roanoke with .497, second in batting average with .427, and third in hits with 214 She ranks first, second, and third in stolen bases in one season for Roanoke in 2013 she had the team’s highest slugging percentage with .676 she went 2-4 in her final game and leaves Roanoke ranked in the top five of seven categories named to the 2013 All-ODAC Softball Team


2012: Played and Started in all 46 contests tabbed 2012 NFCA All-American Third Team member named 2012 NFCA All-Atlantic Region First Team member earned 2012 ODAC All-Tournament Team accolades ranked fourth on the team in batting average, hitting .371 perfect in stolen bases, taking 41-of-41 at the end of the season, holds streak of 66 consecutive successfully stolen bases, three away from an NCAA record led the Maroons in runs (57), home runs (8), and stolen bases (41) ranked third on the team in hits (56), RBIs (31), and slugging percentage (.609) earned ODAC Player of the Week for the week ending 3/11, hitting 18-for-23 (.783) and tallied 18 runs, 14 RBIs, and 13 stolen bases tallied a season-high six RBIs against Grace College (3/9) stole a season high four bases in 15-0 victory over Virginia Intermont (3/27)

2010: NFCA Third-Team All-Region First-Team All-ODAC selection ODAC Rookie of the Year broke single-season record in stolen bases at Roanoke with 30 posted a .466 batting average which led the team along with her stolen bases total batted .490 with 17 stolen bases against ODAC competition made only one error in 40 chances with 36 putouts and three assists at centerfield started in all 37 games totaled five doubles, two triples, a home run and 16 RBI scored 38 runs with nine walks had an 11 and 16-game hit streaks during the season had 15 multi-hit games, including four in a row and six in a span of eight games in March earned ODAC Player of the week March 17 after going 12-for-19 with three doubles, six runs and six stolen bases leading the Maroons to five-straight wins for the week went 3-for-5 against both Peace and Piedmont with a double in each game as the Maroons won both against two south region teams in the Ferrum Invitational against Virginia Intermont, she went 2-for-2 in game one with an RBI, two stolen bases and two runs. In game two, she went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the March 15 meeting against the Cobras, Rainey went 3-for-4 with two runs against Guilford (3/17) she scored a career-high four runs going 3-for-3 with two walks and a season-best three stolen bases had three stolen bases, scored three runs and went 2-for-3 against Emory & Henry (4/20) went 3-for-3 with her first career home run and two runs scored against ODAC-rival Lynchburg (4/17).









High School: played for Walter Pettus at Mills Godwin two-time first-team all-state selection three-time all-region and all-district outfielder named district and region player of the year as a senior best defensive player last two seasons voted team MVP as a senior all-academic all three years named marketing student of the year as a junior DECA President.









Personal: daughter of Scott and Minerva Rainey majoring in Business Administration.
