2013: Started 27 games and pitched in 30 games with 24 starts as a sophomore lead the team with an ERA of 2.46 during 152.1 innings pitched she had 144 hits, 77 runs, and 86 strikeouts, with 20 doubles, five triples, and eight home runs at Sweet Briar (4/7/2013) she gave up no hits, no runs, and had an ERA of 2.16 with 10 strikeouts in five innings pitched is second in three categories as a Roanoke pitcher, including career wins with 45, innings pitched with 396, and complete games with 49 she also has the third most shut-outs in program history with 12 named to the 2013 All-ODAC Softball Team.
2012 Game-By-Game Stats
2012: Higbie was named Most Outstanding Player for both the ODAC Tournament and the NCAA DIII Newport News Regional Tournament. She was also named to the All-ODAC, All-Atlantic Region and NCAA Championships All-Tournament team, as well as being the ODAC Co-Rookie of the Year...named VaSID College Division Rookie of the Year... finished her first year with a record of 30-10 in 261.1 innings pitched. She broke the Roanoke single-season records in wins (30), starts (41), appearances (45), complete games (36), innings pitched (261.1), strikeouts (141) and tied the record in shutouts (8). After her freshman year, Higbie already ranked second all-time at Roanoke College in complete games and fourth in shutouts. Her 30 victories in the 2012 season ranked third amongst all pitchers in the NCAA.
High School: played for Ray Jeter at Cosby High School... named to All-Dominion District team named to second team All-Central Region... led Titans to a 20-4 record and won the Dominion District Championship as a sophomore... named Second-Team Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro team as a senior.
