Biography

2002 – started in all 23 games… collected season-best eight saves in a tie vs. Virginia Wesleyan… had seven saves against Greensboro during the regular season and six in the NCAA Tournament… had six saves in win over Eastern Mennonite… had five saves in overtime loss to Salisbury…. Totaled seven shutouts and 66 saves on the season… held a .33 goals against average and posted a .776 save percentage.


2001 – started in all 21 matches last fall for the Maroons… held a .93 goals against average and posted a .698 save percentage… collected 44 saves and pitched six shutout victories… collected season-high six saves in 4-2 win at Mary Washington… had four saves in 5-1 win against Montclair St… had four saves in ODAC-win over Hampden-Sydney… had a string of five shutouts in a span of six games.


2000: In his first season of college ball, Ebeling played up to the expectations the RC coaching staff had of him leading into the year. Ebeling was named to the ODACS second team all star squad after finishing second in the league in goals against average and tied for third in the save percentage column. Not the biggest of goalies in the league, Ebeling gets the job done with quickness and a great understanding of the flow of the game. It seems at times he is two steps ahead of the play and can anticipate where the play will end up. Should his game continue to improve, expect him to be one of the region's top goalies in just his second year as a Maroon.
