Biography



2005: Schaefer started 17 of the team's 18 games on close defense this past season… his only non-start of the season came in the team's game against Elizabeth College… this season alone, Schaefer nearly doubled his groundball output, collecting 32 loose balls this season… he had a season high six GBs in the team's home win over Hampden-Sydney during the regular season… he had at least one GB in all but two games this past year.


2004: Schaefer appeared in a career-high 12 games for the Maroons, starting six of those contests, including five in ODAC play… his first career point came in a home win over Randolph-Macon College, an assist… seeing all of his time on close-defense, Schaefer also had a career-high 11 groundballs, including three in the RMC victory… Schaefer had at least one groundball in the final eight games of the season.


2003: Schaefer saw action in eight games for the Maroons during his sophomore season… he recorded two groundball wins in a win over ODAC rival Randolph- Macon… his third GB of the year came of the came against Catawba.


2002: Schaefer played in eight games as a freshman… he earned one start during the season... picked up four groundballs
