2017: Played in 30 games for the Maroons during her senior season. She totaled 11 runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. In the second game of the season against Averett, Slate went 3-1 and scored two runs (2/19). She went 2-2 with two runs in the Maroons's win over Catholic (3/5).
2016: Started 33 out of 36 games played for the Maroons during her junior year... totaled eight walks, eight stolen bases, five RBI, and 12 runs scored... went 2-for-4 with one run scored in a win over Randolph-Macon (4/10)... in a win over Emory & Henry she went 1-for-2 with one walk, two stolen bases, and one run scored... went 2-for-4 with one walk, three stolen bases, and two runs scored in a win over Greensboro (2/21)... in a 2-1 win over Salem (3/6) she went 1-for-3 and scored a run.
2014-2015 (At NCJAA Div. II Richard Bland College): Slate was 1st Team Region X Catcher runner-up Player of the Year for Region X All-Tournament Team Region X Richard Bland College Female Athlete of the Year batting average award .417 was the first player recruited to Richard Bland Women's softball program and played 70 games in two seasons for a total of 90 hits, three home runs, 10 doubles, five triples, 50 RBI for her career she is the program leader in hits, RBI, and stolen bases
2013-2014 (At NCJAA Div. II Richard Bland College): Slate was 1st Team Region Utility Player runner-up Player of the Year for Region X All-Tournament Team Region X Richard Bland College Female Athlete of the Year Marucci Elite Hitter for District P, NJCAA batting average award .464
