Biography

2004: the fierce defender appeared in 14 games for the Maroons… he collected 23 groundballs… recorded his assist of the year against #17 Lynchburg… Jones finished his career at Roanoke with two goals and four assists and collected 95 groundballs in four seasons for the Maroons.


2003: appearing in all 16 games of the Maroons' games, Jones recorded three points and 21 groundballs… he scored his first college goal, and also added an assist in a win at ODAC rival Randolph-Macon… he added a second goal in a victory over Catawba… a loss at eventual national champion Salisbury saw Jones lead the Maroons with five groundballs.


2002: Jones started five of the 14 games that he played in as a sophomore with the Maroons… he registered 32 groundballs on the season, many coming off his play on the face-off wings.


2001: Developed into one of Roanoke's top young defenders late in the season… played in nine of RC's 14 games… was hampered by a broken wrist… played portions of the season with a cast on his hand… had two assists, one against Pfeiffer, the other coming in a game against Whittier.
