Biography

2006: Saunders has appeared in nine of Roanoke's games and made the start in a home game against Guilford… his goals came in wins over Randolph-Macon and Cabrini… he had a season-best four shots in the home contest against Ursinus College


2005: Out with a knee injury


2004: As a junior with the Maroons, Saunders scored a career-best nine points on seven goals and two assists… making 14 appearances for the Maroons, Saunders scored two goals in the team's come-from-behind victory at Virginia Wesleyan… his lone man-up tally came in the game against Eastern Connecticut… in the team's season opener at St. Mary's, his goal in the third quarter was the game-winner.


2003: In his second season with the Maroons, Saunders scored five goals and added an assist for six points… he had two goals in the team's wins over Catawba and Guilford Colleges and had his assist in the Guilford contest… he also scored a goal in the team's first game of the year, a win over Division II Wingate… in his 12 games, Saunders had seven groundballs, twice getting two in a game.


2002: Saunders scored goals against Wingate and Guilford Colleges as a freshman… in 13 games he also had three groundballs… played portions of the season as a d-middie.
