2005-06: As a junior, Jackson was one of three players to start all 26 games for the Maroons … he finished the year third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.5 points a game … in a home game against UMass-Dartmouth, Jackson set a career-high by making six three-pointers … his season-best scoring effort came in a road win over Ferrum. He scored 23 points, making 8-of-12 shots, 3-of-6 from threepoint
range … a road win over Bridgewater saw Jackson score 22 points, going 10-for-11 from the free throw line … he scored 12 points and added five assists at Eastern Mennonite and scored 18 points and had five assists at Emory & Henry … in all but seven of Roanoke's games, Jackson made at least one three-pointer.
2004-05: Jackson spent the season splitting his time as a starter and as a reserve, finishing the season averaging 9.8 points per game … he averaged 10.8 points a game as a starter and also averaged 4.2 rebounds and made 42 percent of his three-point attempts … his season-high in scoring column came in the team's win at Lynchburg where he scored 17 points, knocking down a season-best nine free throws … he scored in double-figures in 16 of the team's 26 games … Jackson opened the season with a 15-point, five rebound effort in a win over Farmingdale State … the forward had at least one rebound in all of the team's games and had at least one three-pointer made in all but five … he drilled four three-pointers in a game at Bridgewater and had four games in which he made three … in the team's home win over Emory & Henry he scored just eight points but had a career-best seven assists … while finishing third on the club in scoring, Jackson made 40 three-pointers, the third best total on the club.
2003-04: As a freshman with the Maroons, Jackson played in 19 of the team's 26 games and averaged 2.9 points per game … he scored a career-high 14 points at Lynchburg and later in the season scored nine in the team's ODAC quarterfinal game against Hampden-Sydney College … three of his nine three-pointers on the season came in the game at Lynchburg … averaged six points a game over the final six contests of the season.
Personal: The Carroll County HS MVP as a junior and senior, Jackson was an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a senior and a three-time All-Region pick … the all-time leading scorer at Carroll Co., Jackson was the 2003 Male Athlete of the Year … a member of the Honor Society at CCHS, Jackson is a history major at Roanoke … his father played hoops at Hampden-Sydney College … Jackson was a member of the Roanoke Honorable Mention Faculty List following his freshman year.
