2016-2017:  Played in all 25 games for the Maroons averaged 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assist. As a sophomore he scored in double-digits 19 times for the Maroons. In the Cregger Center opener against Ferrum (11/19) he scored eighteen points, grabbed six rebounds, had one assist along with one steal. For his contributions to the team he was named Tournament MVP in the Dick Leftwich Classic. Against Averett (12/17) he scored twenty-eight points, grabbed ten rebounds, along with two assist with his hard work ethic he was named ODAC player of the week. Caldwell continued to put up huge numbers for the team with four double-doubles this season. One of those was against Hampden Sydney (1/7) grabbing ten rebounds and finishing the game with a season high thirty-two points. He also contributed one assist, one steal, and one block with this performance he was named ODAC player of the week for the second time. At the end of the season Caldwell was named Second-team All-ODAC.

2015-16: Played in 26 games for the Maroons during his freshman year… finished averaging 13.0 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game… had three double-doubles on the year... in a 107-95 win over Eastern Mennonite (12/2) he had 10 points, one steal, two assists, and seven rebounds… put up a double-double with 10 rebounds and 14 points in a win over St. Joseph’s (11/21) while also tallying two assists… put up a season high 21 points and collected one steal, one assist, and three rebounds in a close game with Randolph (1/27).
