Career Highlights: In three seasons with the Maroon varsity program, Milton averaged 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds a game. He scored 140 points, 86 of those coming during his senior campaign. In a win at Eastern Mennonite midway through the 2003-04 season, Milton scored a career-high 10 points, that effort coming in just 17 minutes of play. Twice during the 2003-04 season, Milton grabbed a career-high seven rebounds, one of those games coming in the ODAC tournament against Hampden-Sydney College. As a senior, the 6-6 Milton hit the only two three-pointers of his career, the first coming against Emory & Henry and one coming in one of his three starts, a home game against Eastern Mennonite.
2002-03: In 20 appearances as a junior, Milton averaged 6.5 minutes, 2.1 points, and 1.3 rebounds a game … he had a season-high eight points in a career-high 23 minutes in a game at Bridgewater, making four of his seven field goal attempts … went for seven in a home victory over Guilford and twice reached six points in the scoring column … had a season-high three rebounds in games with Bridgewater and Guilford, both on the road.
2001-02: As a sophomore, averaged 1.5 points a game in eight contests … scored a career-high six points in the team's win over Lynchburg College in January … scored his first career collegiate points on a field goal in a road game at Randolph-Macon College … showed his ability to grab rebounds with a career-high six in just six minutes against the Hornets of Lynchburg College … made both of his free throw attempts, going 2-for-2 against LC.
2000-01: Spent his first season in Salem recuperating from a knee injury suffered while still at Shawsville High School … was able to give the injury a good test while a member of the Roanoke junior varsity program.
Personal: Was a four-sport star at Shawsville High School … led the Shawsville hoops squad in scoring as both a junior and senior … was an All-District performer as a senior after leading the league in rebounding … sister played soccer at Virginia Tech.
