Biography

2005-06: Allen completed his Roanoke College playing career with 104 points in 61 appearances. He had his best all-around season as a sophomore with the Maroons, scoring 63 points and averaging 3.0 points per game. He scored a career-high nine points in a January 2004 game against Eastern Mennonite University, but had career-highs in rebounds, assists, and steals during his senior season with the Maroons. Twelve of his 19 three-point field goals came during his sophomore season, while 13 of his 17 starts came during his final season in Salem. Allen will graduate from Roanoke in December of 2006, that after spending the fall semester completing an internship with Virginia Tech University's club sport and intramural department.


 


2004-05: Allen enters his senior season coming off of a year in which he averaged 1.2 points in 10 appearances … he scored a season-high three points in a road game at Virginia Wesleyan, knocking down his lone three-point field goal of the year … two of his three made free throws came in a crucial stretch in a road win at Washington & Lee University.


 


2003-04: Allen appeared in 21 games for the Maroons and made his first four collegiate starts during his sophomore season … he averaged 3.0 points per game and 10.7 minutes a contest … twelve of his 17 field goals were made from three-point range … he scored a career-high nine points in a win at Eastern Mennonite, making three three-pointers in the contest … he completed the season with 22 assists, handing out a season-best three on two separate contests … he scored eight points in a game twice, seven in a game twice, and five in the team's ODAC quarterfinal contest.


 


2002-03: In nine games as a freshman with the Maroons, Allen totaled four points and three rebounds … he had two points in each of the team's games against Eastern Mennonite … he also had a rebound in the Maroons' home victory over EMU … his lone assist of the season came in the squad's game at Maryville College.


 


Personal: Allen was a two-time Steward School MVP, as a junior and senior … was an All-State player as a senior at Steward … earned All-Conference honors as a junior and senior and was also a two-time All-Tournament selection … helped Steward School to the state championship game as a senior … Allen is a member of the Roanoke College Exercise Science major.
