Biography

Career Highlights: Puckett ended his regular season career with a bang, scoring a career-high 15 points in a home win over Eastern Mennonite University. In the 93-74 triumph, Puckett made seven of his eight field goal attempts and also grabbed seven rebounds. As a junior, he had a career-high 12 rebounds in a home win over Washington & Lee, a game in which he also had a previous career-high 14 points. Suffering several injuries that limited his time in his first two seasons in Salem, Puckett rebounded to start every game as a junior and play in all but two as a senior. By percentage, Puckett finished his career as the fourth all-time leading Roanoke player in the field goals column, ending his career having made almost 58 percent of his tries from the field. He also concluded his Roanoke tenure as the sixth all-time leader in the blocked shots column, swatting 65 in four years.


 


Personal: Following his graduation from the Roanoke College business department in the Spring of 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Puckett joined the business office of the Shelor Automotive group based out of Christiansburg, VA.
