Roanoke College

Maroon Point: Gaeng's father Brian was a member of the Roanoke College lacrosse team during the 1970s. His younger brother Derek is a member of the Roanoke College junior varsity basketball team. Sister Paige is a member of the women's soccer team. 

Outlook: A fiery competitor with unparralled leadership abilities, Gaeng has already made his presence known on the court and in the locker room though his passion, hustle, and desire to excel. Recruited by the Maroons out of high school, expect Gaeng to see immediate minutes, perhaps starting time, at the point guard position.

2007-08: Appeared in 18 games… had 15 assists to only eight turnovers for a 1.9 assist/turnover ratio… had season-best three assists vs. York (Pa.) in the season-opener (11/16) and Emory & Henry (2/6)… hit a three-pointer with season-best two rebounds and added two assists in win over Ferrum (11/26).

2006-07: Appeared in 21 games last season… and season-high six points in an overtime win vs. Emory & Henry (1/31)… recorded season-high three assists vs. Guilford… totaled 16 rebounds for the Maroons.

At Mt. St. Mary's (2005-06): Gaeng appeared in 11 games as a freshman at Division I Mount Saint Mary College in Maryland, that during the 2004-05 season. He scored four points and had three assists in 19 minutes of action.
