2007-08: Started in 25 of 26 games played… missed one game due to injury… shot .502 from the floor, .747 from the free throw line… averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game… had 22 blocked shots, 43 assists and 24 steals… enters 2008-09 season 129 points shy of 1,000 for his career… honorable mention All-ODAC… MVP of Domino's New Year's Classic… led team in scoring six times and rebounding 12 times… poured in a career-high 28 points vs. Emory & Henry (1/9)… led team in scoring, second in rebounding and field goal percentage… third in blocked shots… scored in double-figures 17 times and had three 20-point games… had three double-doubles… had 13 points off 7-of-7 from the free throw line, six rebounds and a career-high four blocked shots vs. Randolph-Macon (12/2)… had first double-double of the season with 18 points including a career-high 10 free throws made and 11 rebounds in upset win vs. Virginia Wesleyan (12/1)… scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds against FDU-Florham (1/4)… had 20 points, eight rebounds and a season-high four assists vs. Eastern Mennonite (1/19)… scored 26 points off 12-of-16 from the floor, pulled down eight boards and had three steals vs. Emory & Henry (2/6).
2006-07: Started 26 of 28 games played... second on the team in and seventh in the ODAC in rebounding (6.5 rpg) … team's leading scorer (12.3 ppg)… led the team in scoring eight times… poured in a season-high of 24 points at Lynchburg (2/10)… scored 23 and 22 points against Eastern Mennonite (1/13) and Emory & Henry (12/6), respectively … scored twenty points on five different occasions… scored in double figures in 19 games… second on team in blocks with ten… led the team with six double-doubles… earned Second-Team All-ODAC honors… named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team.
2005-06: After spending the first half of his season coming off the bench, Peery started 12 of the team's final 13 games … Peery averaged 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds as a starter, while shooting 46 percent from the field … four of his six double-digit scoring efforts came while in the starting lineup … his high in the scoring column came in a road game at Hampden-Sydney, a 17-point contest … Peery averaged 7.3 rebounds over the final three games of the year, grabbing a season-best nine at Guilford … three of his 17 steals came in a road win over Lynchburg College.
High School: Peery was a high school teammate of current Maroon AJ Dowell. He was an All-District selection at Salem High School during his junior season and also helped the team to district and regional championships as well as a state runner-up finish... coached at Salem by Grant Smythers.
