Biography

2003-04: Zimmerman played in all but one of the Maroons' games during his freshman season, averaging 2.3 points a game … he scored a season-high 10 points in a home contest against Lynchburg College and also added eight in the team's contest in the ODAC tournament … handed out 17 assists including three in a game at Bridgewater … played 17 minutes, scored eight points, had two assists and four rebounds in his college debut, that against Earlham.


 


Personal: Zimmerman was a teammate of Curtis Killen at Freedom High School where they led the team to the state championship game … in addition to his play with the Freedom basketball team, Zimmerman was also a football, baseball, and tennis player … he plans on majoring in Education at Roanoke College.
