Biography

2002-03: Fasnacht played in 22 of the team's games, averaging 4.3 points per contest … he had a career-high 17 points in a home win over Emory & Henry College on 6-of-8 shooting from the field … he hurt E&H again later in the season with 11 points in a road game with the Wasps … he had 15 assists and 10 steals on the season … all nine of his points in a road game against Eastern Mennonite came from behind the three-point line.


 


2001-02: Fasnacht appeared in 17 games for the Maroons during his sophomore season … had 20 assists and nine steals while averaging 9.9 minutes a game … played a season-high 18 minutes in a home win over Lynchburg, scoring 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field … logged at least 10 minutes in 10 games for the Maroons … handed out three assists, recorded three steals, and put in 11 points in a victory over Washington & Lee in January … got on the scoreboard in all but two of the games in which he played.


 


2000-01: Averaged 2.8 points a game in 11 appearances in his first season in a Maroon uniform … scored a then career-high nine points in Roanoke's NCAA tournament game against Christopher Newport … shot 12-of-21 from the field (.571), including 5-for-11 from three-point range … hit three three-pointers in the contest against Christopher Newport, while also grabbing two offensive rebounds.


 


Personal: Was the Single-A AP Player of the Year as a senior at Glenvar High School … led the Glenvar HS team to the 1999 state championship, the same season he was named the school's Athlete of the Year … also garnered VHSCA and Roanoke Times Player of the Year as a senior at Glenvar … sister Allison is a star basketball player at Glenvar High School.
