2005-06: As a junior with the Maroons, Lawler continued to develop and offer key contributions … he started 12 games at center for Roanoke and appeared in each of the team's 26 contests … averaging 3.2 points and 3.7 rebounds for the season, Lawler finished the year well, averaging 10.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in the final two games … he reached double-digits in the scoring column three times, scoring 10 points at Goucher, at home against Emory & Henry, and in the ODAC tournament against Hampden- Sydney … over the final 11 games of the season Lawler went 19-for-25 (76%) from the field, including a 5-for-5 effort against E&H … the Abingdon, VA native recorded his first career college double-double against Goucher, scoring 10 and grabbing 11 rebounds.
2004-05: Lawler emerged as a reliable center for the Maroons, playing in all 26 of the team's games, averaging 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game … three times the Abingdon, VA native scored a career-high 10 points, getting those efforts against Randolph-Macon, Emory & Henry, and Guilford … he blocked a season and career-high four shots in a home win over Hobart College and finished the year second with 19 total blocks … his season-best rebounding effort also came in the Hobart contest when he collected eight … in the team's final three games of the season he averaged five rebounds a contest … Lawler led the team in the rebounding column in the home game against Randolph-Macon … for the season Lawler averaged 10 minutes a game, 13 over the final three contests.

Personal: Lawler graduated from Abingdon HS number four in his class academically … a two-time Most Valuable Player selection of the Abingdon hoops team, Lawler was also a tennis standout … Lawler is a chemistry and math major at Roanoke.
