Biography

Career Highlights: Crowder averaged a career-high 8.6 points per game during his senior season with the Maroons. He finished his tenure in Salem with 439 career points. He scored a career-high 22 points in a home game against the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney College during his senior season. In that game, Crowder went 6-for-10 from three-point range. Eleven times during his final season with the team, Crowder scored in double-figures. With 40 three-pointers made during the 2003-04 season, Crowder finished second on the club. Before his 22-point effort against Hampden-Sydney, Crowder had a career scoring effort against SUNY New Paltz, making three three-pointers and a career-high five free throws in the win in the V-Foundation Classic. He earned a spot on the 2003 Salem Bank & Trust Tip-Off All-Tournament team.


 


2002-03: In his third season with the Maroons, Crowder averaged 4.5 points per game and finished the year with 20 three-pointers, the third highest total on the team … he reached double-figures in the scoring column four times, including a career-high 14-point effort on the road against Bridgewater … he made a season-high four three-pointers in that Bridgewater game and made at least two in three other games … he opened the year with a season-high three steals in a win over Greensboro and had a season-best four assists in game vs. Maryville and Bridgewater.


 


2001-02: Crowder averaged 3.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in 26 games coming off the Maroon bench … scored a career-high 10 points in Roanoke's game against Randolph-Macon College in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament … averaged 10.7 minutes a game for the season, but 15.8 over the final four games of the year, earning a career-high 22 minutes played against RMC in the ODAC postseason … dished out 24 assists, including a season-high four vs. Bridgewater.


 


2000-01: Earned playing time 12 times for the Roanoke varsity squad … had five points at Guilford College and three in a home contest with Randolph-Macon … hit two two-point field goals in the win over Lynchburg College in the ODAC tournament … first collegiate points came on a field goal at home against Virginia Wesleyan.


 


Personal: Was an All-Three Rivers District player in basketball as both a junior and senior at Radford … received All-Region honors as a senior … lined-up as wide receiver on the RHS football team and was All-District as a senior … led Radford football to district and regional championships.
