Conte joined the Roanoke College staff in the summer of 2025. He graduated from UVA where he was First Team All-ACC and led the ACC in punting in 2016. He currently holds the record for career punting average at UVA with an average of 44.45 yds per punt. Conte earned a B.A. in human biology and a M.Ed in sports administration and was on the All-Academic honor roll all eight semesters.
Conte participated in Rookie Mini Camps with the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Washington Redskins. He coached the Specialists Unit at VMI for three years, helping lead them to a SoCon Championship and had a punter, kicker and long snapper earn All-American and First-Team All SoCon Honors.
