2017: As a junior he played in 11 games with a batting average of .421, 1 home run, 3 RBI, and 4 runs. In a game versus Averett (2/15) he had one RBI in the teams win. Towards the end of February he contributed one hit in the teams with versus Southern Virginia (2/22). Against Southern Virginia (4/10) he had one hit, one run and two RBI.
2016: Started in 3 out of 8 games played for the Maroons during his sophomore year… hit .333 for the season…drove in three runs while scoring three, also stole a base… went 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run scored in a 4-3 win over William Peace (2/20).
2015: Started in four of six games played during his freshman campaign...finished the year going 2-12 at the plate for a .167 batting average...totaled one double, six runs scored, and three RBI's on the year...went 1-3 with a double, 2 RBI and a stolen base in collegiate debut, an 11-10 ODAC triumph over Hampden-Sydney (3/15)...in a win over Johnson University (TN) (3/21), he went 1-4 with one walk, one stolen base, three runs scored, and one RBI.
High School: Played soccer, track, basketball, and baseball at Lakewood... played soccer for Jay Faircloth as a defender... played baseball for Larry Bass... named team captain three years.
Personal: Son of Sharon and Mark Strickland... Biology Major looking to go into medical school after graduation.
