Salem, Va. - The Roanoke College field hockey team was overcome by No. 22 Mary Washington on Family Weekend.

How It Happened  
  • Hannah Jadgchew started the scoring, scoring eight minutes into the game to open the scoring for the Eagles.  
  • Mary Washington opened the half fast scoring 38 seconds in to open the scoring gates.  
Notes and Notables  
  • Roanoke's goalies combined for 12 saves.  
  • Chloe Miller made multiple big saves, finishing with nine overall.  
  • Van Putten recorded a career-high three saves.  
  • The Maroons were outshot 30-1 and lost the advantage in penalty corners 9-1.
