The Short story: The Roanoke College women's volleyball team opened the Maroon Classic Friday with a pair of non-conference wins. RC defeated North Carolina Wesleyan University in four sets and Brevard College (N.C.) in five, dominating the third (25-5) and fifth sets (15-3).
