Winchester, Va. - Roanoke placed three in the top five as the Maroon's men's cross-country team took first place in the SU Twilight Open to start the season.

Notes and Notables  

• Roanoke took three of the top spots to compile the lowest score of 32.  

• RC also placed two runners in the top 15. 

• The top three finishers were three sophomores: Nathaniel Orban, taking the individual title at 19:29.0 on the 6k course. Parker Blosser was behind him by just 28 seconds, and Gabe Ramirez finished third at 20:18.6.  

• The rest of the Maroons in the top 15 finishers were Elias Ammon at 10th with a time of 20:28.8, and Beau Brebner placed 14th with a time of 20:54.4.
