Salem, Va. - The Roanoke College men's soccer team was selected to finish seventh in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference preseason poll.  

The head coaches of each ODAC program voted on the standings; however, they could not vote for their own program.   

Roanoke received 57 points in the ballot, putting the Maroons just four points behind sixth-placed Randolph-Macon and ranked one point ahead of Shenandoah. Lynchburg tops the poll with 121 points and 11 of the 12 first-place votes. Washington and Lee is picked second with 111 points and the remaining first-place vote.  

The team kicks off the season next Tuesday, Sept. 1 against Covenant. Kickoff from Kerr Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
