 The Short Story:
The Roanoke College men's lacrosse season came to an end Saturday as the Maroons met Salisbury University in the second round of the NCAA tournament, falling short 19-3.
  
How It Happened:
The Maroons just couldn't break through offensively, scoring just one goal in the first half and two in the second. The Seagulls took advantage of the Maroon scoring lull to extend their lead and pull out the victory.
 
Inside The Numbers:

• Patrick Cullen scored twice to lead the Maroons.
• Preston Shields netted the other Maroon goal.
• Tyler Schmelzer and Julian Kammerman handed out assists.
• Weston Hammond scooped six ground balls defensively and Ike Dutton had four.
• David Hamilton made four saves in the goal for the Maroons.
• Micheal Leahy scored five Seagull goals.

  
This loss caps a very successful season for RC Men's Lacrosse. The Maroons finish the year 14-6, with the program's first NCAA Tournament win since 2013.
