SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College women's lacrosse team spread the wealth as they picked up a conference win over Eastern Mennonite.

How It Happened 

• The Maroons caught fire quickly as they scored 14 goals in the first half. They then kept their foot on the gas in the second half to get their third ODAC win of the season. 

Notes and Notables 

• Roanoke had 16 different players registered points and scored at least one goal in the game. 

• Junior Maddie McDonald led the way with four goals and two assists for six points. 

• Sarah Brisson followed that up with five points each on two goals and three assists. Addison Widmer also recorded a pair of goals and dished out two assists for four points.

• Zoe Blair had three points on a goal and two helpers. Meanwhile, Jordan Wheeler, Eva Lennon, and Regan Tharaldson rounded out the multi-point talliers with a goal and an assist each. 

• Wheeler's points in the contest were her first since her freshman campaign. 

• Elyse Cosgrave, Hadley Knapp, and Lyndsey Weller all posted their first points of the season on the night. 

• McDonald had a career high six ground balls. Her fellow junior, Lize Fergusson, wasn't far behind with four. 

• Freshman Kaitlyn Robertson tied her career mark with four caused turnovers. 

• McDonald topped the team in draw controls with five while Eva Lennon had four. 

• Kendall Todd and Maddi Barnhorst split time in between the pipes for the Maroons. Todd did not have to make a save while Barnhorst made three in the game.
