The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team traveled north to Dickinson College Saturday, where the Maroons took their first loss of the season, 16-9. Dickinson is ranked No. 12 this week in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Top 20 poll this week, while the Maroons received votes.
How it happened:
*The Red Devils scored the first three goals of the game but Roanoke countered with two
Noah Bell tallies to cut the lead to 3-2 with 4:44 left in the first quarter.
*Dickinson scored the next three goals and went into halftime ahead 9-3.
*The hosts led by at least five goals the rest of the way.
