SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's volleyball team got themselves back in the win column before their weekend tri-match as they took down Regent 3-0 on Friday.

How It Happened 

• The Maroons cruised through the first set after getting up early, ending the set at 25-10. 

• The next two sets were closer, but RC found the finishing blows in both, taking set two 27-25 and set three 25-22. 

Notes and Notables 

• Andre Gates and Gannon Klimuszko were both lethal for Roanoke in the third set, leading them to topping the squad in kills with six each. 

• Jackson Rutkowski and Logan Chappell followed them up with five kills each. 

• Teagan Cole led RC in assists with 20 while Johnny Moran also found himself in double digits with 11. 

• Noah Kuhn posted a new career high in digs with nine on the night. 

• Gates, Colin Mendoza, and Todd Sager led in blocks with two a piece.

RC is back in the Cregger Center tomorrow (Feb. 28) as they host Bridgewater and Elizabethtown in tri-match action. The squad is set to face-off with Bridgewater at 1:00 pm and Elizabethtown at 3:00 pm.
