SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College women's basketball team opens the ODAC Tournament on Wednesday with a trip to Washington & Lee for a 7:00 pm matchup.

The Matchup  

• This will be the second time in the past month that RC will make the trip to Lexington. 

• Washington & Lee took the regular season contest.  

• The last time the Maroons took down W&L was on the road in 2022. RC did so that year after falling in the first matchup of the season between the sides. 

• The winner of Tuesday's game will move on to play in the semifinals at the Salem Civic Center on Saturday.  

Notes and Notables  

• Since the last time Roanoke took on the Generals, RC has won five of their seven games to help propel them into the ODAC tournament. 

• Junior Ashley Fowler currently leads the Maroons in scoring, averaging 11.9 points per game. She also tops the squad in rebounding with 149 boards on the season. 

• Alicea Farmer is another dual threat for the Maroons, averaging 9.6 ponts per game and collecting 147 rebounds this year. Additionally, she paces the team in steals and blocks with 36 and 20 respectively. 

• Freshmen Moriah Tate and Cecilia Robinson have come into their own over the past month, contributing on both sides of the ball. Look for the pair to try to make an impact for the Maroons.
