VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Roanoke College baseball team were defeated by Virginia Wesleyan in their final doubleheader of the regular season on Sunday. 
 
Game 1 Information 
Vriginia Wesleyan 14, Roanoke 3

Game 1 Notes and Notables 

• Nate Prince and Kyle Moshier had multi-hit games, each posting two hits. Both players also tallied a run. 

• Parker Stallard, Hayden Giordano, and Tucker Schiavoni accounted for the other three Roanoke hits. 

• Giordano, Tyler Galloway, and Liam Murphy knocked in the Maroons' three RBIs in the game. 

Game 2 Information 
Vriginia Wesleyan 12, Roanoke 2

Game 2 Notes and Notables 

• Nate Prince tallied both RBIs for RC. 

• Corey Coogan was the only Maroons to record multiple hits with his two in the contest. 

• Prince, Danny Ferguson, and Jack Fehlner tallied the other three hits. 

• Parker Stallard added two stolen bases to up his team and ODAC leading total to 22 on the season. 

• Jackson Murphy posted three scoreless innings on the mound, striking out two in the process.

RC gets set for the ODAC playoffs this weekend. They will travel to Shenandoah on Friday (May 2) for a 1:00 pm doubleheader. If each team wins a game on Friday, then the Maroons will play on Sunday (May 3) to decide a series winner.
