Salem, Va. – Three Roanoke College student-athletes earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's Swimming and Diving Team, the CSC announced Tuesday.

Nicholas Cuchna, Ryan Franceys and Sean Hogan each were honored from a Maroon men's swimming team that placed second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in 2024-25.

Cuchna, a sophomore business administration major, is from Manchester, Md. Franceys is from Harare, Zimbabwe and is also a business administration major. Hogan, a literature and art history major, is from Richmond, Va.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
