GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Roanoke College baseball team kept it rolling in North Carolina on Wednesday as they secured a 6-4 ODAC victory over Guilford.

How It Happened 

• Roanoke struck first, tallying four runs in the top of the third. Guilford answered back with two ticks of their own in the bottom half of the inning. 

• After Guilford pulled the game to within one in the fifth inning, Roanoke tacked on two more runs in the top of the sixth.  

• The RC pitching staff kept Guilford at bay the rest of the game to pull out another ODAC victory. 

Notes and Notables 

• In his fourth consecutive start, sophomore Finn Lamb snagged his first win of the year and of his career. Lamb tossed five innings, only giving up two earned runs and five hits while recording a strikeout. 

• Trevor Orth picked up the first save of the season after pitching the last inning and two-thirds of the game. 

• Tyler Galloway paced the Maroons offensively with three hits and three RBIs. He set a new career mark in hits and tied his high in RBIs in the game. 

• Every RC player tallied a hit in the contest. Kyle Moshier joined Galloway with three knocks while Hayden Giordano, Corey Coogan, and Ken McKeever also had multi-hit games with two apiece. 

• Danny Ferguson, Nate Prince, and McKeever accounted for the rest of the Maroons' RBIs.
