SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College women's tennis team was defeated in their last home conference match of the season by Randolph-Macon.

The Highlights 

• In her first singles match of the season, Maddie Morrell pulled out a win at No. 6 singles to account for Roanoke's only point on the afternoon. 

• Morrell teamed up with Sidney Wright to grab the victory at No. 3 doubles as well. That marked their first win as a duo. 

• Julia Bassett almost took the win at No. 3 singles too after forcing a third set with her 6-1 victory in the second.

RC continues the homestand on Wednesday (Apr. 16) when they square off against Lynchburg as a non-conference matchup. That contest is set to begin at 2:00 pm.
