BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Roanoke College men's tennis squad were taken down by Virginia Wesleyan in ODAC play on Friday afternoon.

The Highlights 

• Due to heavy rains in Salem throughout the day, RC took on Virginia Wesleyan at Virginia Tech's indoor facility in Blacksburg. 

• Singles were also played first in the contest. 

• Federico Maccari and Emiliano Ramirez battled at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots. Both players forced extra points in the first set with Maccari's match needing a tiebreaker to decide a winner. 

• Jacob Nichols also had a close match in the No. 5 spot.
